THE HOUND’S TOP FIVE GAME OF THRONES MOMENTS

Most viewers have difficulty remembering all the names of the characters in Game of Thrones, so it seems ineviatable that top character moments get forgotten – and many of Westeros’ finest moments get overlooked when the inevitable ‘Top Thrones Moments of ALL TIME EVER’ features get  released ahead of our long awaited return to the seven kingdoms. With this in mind, every day in the lead up to season 6 (13 days – but who’s counting!) I will be listing a character’s top five moments for your reading (and viewing) pleasure. Today it’s the turn of the ultimate road-trip companion himself – The Hound (who is totally coming back this season, since we NEVER saw him ACTUALLY bite the Westerosi dust)

  1. BROTHERLY LOVE

Just in case you were writing off Joffrey’s dog after the slaughter of the butcher’s boy, we are afterwards shown here that Sandor is  the lesser of two evils – quite literally (and on  a side note – who else was mightily disturbed by the equine beheading?!)

2. SAVING OF SANSA

The little dove is saved from an evil fate by a gruff but kind canine – he doesn’t want to be a hero, and yet…

3. CHICKEN     Talkers make him hungry … arguably his finest hour. And he is definitely a carnivore.

4. HORRIBLE HISTORY

The moment the true horror of the antihero’s backstory is revealed, to his most unlikely sidekick.

5. BATTLE OF BRIENNE

The swordplay. The rage. The meeting of the mighty. Not included in the clip is the full aftermath – but the abandonment of the   fallen fighter is beautifully played and included in this final entry.

PS.  Anyone else predicting a Hound on Mountain fraternal battle to the death, or just me?!
